I have a passion for teaching and helping others realize their potential. As a Professor at the Graduate School of Management, GLOBIS University, I teach courses on Innovation Through Virtual Teams, Cross-Cultural Management, Design Thinking, Business Presentations, and Critical Thinking, to international MBA students, with an average student satisfaction rating of 94%.
Core to my teaching philosophy is interactivity. Nobody learns well from lectures. We learn from discussions, group assignments, feedback, and action learning. These are central to my training practice and every course I teach. When teaching remotely, I aim for interactivity and ensure that even large groups can learn actively through interaction with their peers.
Since 2013, I've managed global human resource projects for Ricoh Company Limited, creating and leading teams of HR professionals from around the world.
As a member of the Teaching Team at IDEO U for five years, I helped global learners express their creative confidence through online courses on storytelling and design thinking.
I also love sharing ideas as a contributing writer for Forbes, Fast Company, and other publications. Please check out my Thought Leadership page for articles on storytelling, creativity, remote work, and business across borders.
In my previous career, I spent two decades working for the federal government in Canada before pivoting my career into HR, training, and teaching. I gave a TEDx talk on how I made this shift and the importance of passion when planning any career pivot.
